In 2025, Turkey will host the prestigious FCI World Search and Rescue Dog Team Championship.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This major championship will not only showcase the skills of search and rescue dogs but will also demonstrate humanity\u2019s solidarity and commitment to disaster preparedness. Given that Turkey is located in an active earthquake zone and, in particular, considering the devastating earthquake on February 6, 2023, this championship holds even greater significance for our country. While the pain of the earthquake still lingers in our hearts, this event will serve as a tribute to those we lost and as an opportunity to raise awareness about disaster preparedness and search and rescue efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turkey has long been experienced in the field of search and rescue.<\/span><\/p>\n

The role of search and rescue dogs in disaster response is undeniable, and this championship will provide a platform for teams from around the world to exchange knowledge and strengthen global cooperation. In this regard, \u00c7ekmek\u00f6y Municipality is playing a crucial role in supporting the organization of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the Federation of Dog Breeds and Cynology in Turkey, we have always managed to be the leading institution in every field related to dogs in our country.<\/span><\/p>\n

We know that the importance of our dogs in the field of Search and Rescue is undeniable. For us, this issue is very important in two steps, knowing that the ability of our dog that will work in this field comes from the family tree with the close and distant blood line registered in the pedigree and understanding the importance of the pedigree system shows how important our main function is. In addition, the fact that our Search and Rescue Dogs prove again and again how valuable and important the dog is in every field for human life is very valuable to create a dog-loving, animal-loving society.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the two major earthquake disasters that our country has experienced in the recent past have shown us that an important task has fallen in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n
