About FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale)<\/h2><\/div>


\nThe FCI recognises 359 breeds. Each of them is the 'property' of a specific country. The 'owner' countries of the breeds write the standard of these breeds (detailed description of the ideal type of the breed), in co-operation with the Standards and Scientific Commissions of the FCI. The translation, updating and publication of the standards are carried out by the FCI. These standards are THE reference for the judges at shows held in the FCI member countries, but also for the breeders in their attempt to produce top-quality dogs.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n\n\t

About the Dog Trainers Association K\u00d6PED<\/h2><\/div>

Founded in 2015, the Dog Trainers Association was established to operate in various fields related to canine ethology (dog behavior science), dog psychology, and cynology (dog training science) both domestically and internationally. Its scope also includes dog breeding, rearing, caregiving, care expertise, dog walking, management, training, training expertise, and trainer education.<\/span><\/p> <\/div> <\/div>

About KIF & K\u00d6PED SAR <\/h2><\/div>

Following the declaration of 2022 as the \u201cYear of Search and Rescue Dogs\u201d by our Turkish Kennel Club (KIF), the KIF & K\u00d6PED SAR team was established. This team actively participated in the February 6 earthquakes, which deeply affected our country, deploying a team of 18 members to the disaster zone. Additionally, the team engaged in humanitarian aid efforts and provided support to dog owners affected by the disaster.<\/span><\/p> <\/div> <\/div>

<\/div> <\/div>

Comprising dog owners, dog trainers, and animal lovers, the team has since expanded to a 40-member unit thanks to its ongoing efforts.\n\nAfter completing the AFAD Urban Search and Rescue Light Accreditation training, the team has now begun preparations for the Light Accreditation Exam.<\/span><\/p> <\/div> <\/div>

The primary objectives of the team are to:\n Increase the number of AFAD-accredited search and rescue dog teams in Turkey,\nSupport heavily accredited teams with trained, accredited search and rescue dogs,\n Encourage talented and well-tempered dogs\u2014whether family pets, street dogs, or shelter dogs\u2014to participate in search and rescue training programs.<\/span><\/p> <\/div> <\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n\n\t
